Feb 17, 09 03:43 am — We've heard lots of great suggestions and users have been very helpful in submitting their feedback and bug reports. For this, our continued thanks. Here are improvements we've made over the past several days based on what you've had to say:
- Link Settings - Easily the most requested feature is the ability to click the title of a link and instantly go to the page. Well, we've delivered. Registered users can now edit whether or not a link opens in a new window and the title links to the link URL. You can also turn link descriptions on and off.
- Notification Settings - Want to be notified when someone respond to your comment? Want to be notified when someone sends you a private message? Head on over to the notification area of your account settings page (Click "Settings" at the top while logged in) and you'll see the magic.
- Submit Page - The submit page has gone through lots of changes to be more reliable, faster, and more helpful. Plus, it doesn't jarble up URLs anymore which is always a plus.
- Edit Comment - You will be able to edit comments for the first 5 minutes the comment is live. Enjoy fixing those typos.
- Popular Links - The main page seemed stale. We took a look under the hood and found links were not sorting correctly among other issues. Both bugs have been fixed. The site will update much more frequently.
- Re-imported all friends into FOLLOWERS to account for bug in some user's friends list.
- Misc. Issues - Avatars were not always uploading has been fixed. Comments having a line break appear after 4-5 words of the first line of the comment has been resolved. Upcoming links no longer shows popular links and vice versa.

Because I dared call him on bullshit he pulled, esp. in regards to Newfie. When he wouldn't do anything about it, we (duztin and I) made things difficult. You must remember those days.
Also, I broke promises to Rexx, and probably a bunch of other things I don't remember. I was young then, I've grown up a lil' bit.
Oh yeah, that's right. There was major issues with you and Newfie.
Totally forgot about that.

Ahem, so yeah, I'm sure any issues with others that you had in the past are cleared up and hopefully stay there. 
If newfie returns I can make no promises
1st RULE: You do not talk about MADVILLE.
2nd RULE: You DO NOT talk about MADVILLE.
3rd RULE: If someone says "stop" or goes limp, taps out the fight is over.
4th RULE: Only two guys to a fight.
5th RULE: One fight at a time.
6th RULE: No shirts, no shoes.
7th RULE: Fights will go on as long as they have to.
8th RULE: If this is your first night at MADVILLE you HAVE to fight.
As you can see, the 8th rule cancels that out.

Turning off the link descriptions makes the links area SMOOTH.
Bah @ the five minute editing rule.
Issue with turning off link descriptions is that you have to turn them back on to be able to post a comment on the link, or to vote for it. 
This is corrected now too.
Can we get a date/time posted on the blogs? I know the blog listing 'tab' shows how many hours/days ago the blog was posted, which is fine, but a record of the date & time on the actual blog itself would be kinda nice.
And add a +1 to Zem's issue with not being able to post comments unless you turn link descriptions back on.

Am I seeing this right? Is there no more down voting? (Not a complaint, just making sure it's not a site bug ;) )
Yep, down voting has been removed. Now it's if you think the link is cool, intriguing, awesome, a good read, interesting, etc., vote it up. Else, don't do anything -- for now. Soon, we'll have the ability to report which will be similar a "vote down." You'll see.
