I'm surprised more people aren't using FF with Ad Block Plus.
I have yet to see an ad.

TO get rid of that lovely crap the site owners are putting on each page
For Firefox go to View - Adblock Plus Blockable Items
Look for the items that have Google ads in it and select to block them.
That'll get rid of those goggle ads
Thank you Big T, hopefully the users that these ads are annoying will be able to download and use it.
It beyond stinks that they will have to do so because of Madville.
Zem. Don'tcha think it's time for an

Since when do people look at ads? I thought savvy users used firefox adblock/noscript since about 2003 or so.
I have to be the least tech savvy person on this site and even I know to use ad block to avoid that kind of crap!
I'm proud of you Gramps!
There are lots of users who don't know about it/use it.
I originally installed it for Facebook, it takes care of those shitty ads in the side column where you can see a picture of your sister with the words "looking for love?" in text below. That was the final straw... Since then Adblock has made my life much simpler...

Zem's sister?!?!
I'm an opera user, and the latest batch of ads are defeating me. Anyone with hints on what you are actually blocking out to get rid of them. The suual google suspects aren't doing the trick.
Turning off javascript does it, think I found the script function for it though..
also, you can just block http://www.google.com/jsapi for the given page.

Agreed.
