I used to know this doc who was a client of mine as a general practitioner, who moonlighted as a part time anesthesiologist. He said he could make more money on a weekend shift at the hospital than he did all week in his office.
He explained that the job was very simple; "Anyone can put a patient to sleep. They pay me the big money to wake them up again."
So, Mac, based on that, if your patient woke up at the end of the procedure, you are a success!
Two questions....
How is that beer?
Did you take that pic?
Oh yeah... Congrats!
The beer is pretty good. They have it on tap right now at Rambling House on in Woodlawn if you want to try it. Didn't take that pic but I did get some of the OR suite. Can't post them, but contact me directly and I'll send a couple. The op was a modified radical mastectomy.
fropfreak
mmmmmmmm, general anesthesia.
