Gradually increasing levels of spam, splug, product placement, and other forms of website abuse followed by an overwhelming ZEM STOMP.
The cycle will then repeat, until MV finally dies from this slow death, or until the site is sold to someone who gives a damn, or until we all just decide to give in to the inevitable and eat our ice cream.
There are a hell of a lot more than just these ratbags. All Stomped!

I have never seen such incompetence from site owners anywhere. Even David (Maninyellowhat) who stated that he wasn't the best of coders was able to code something to stem the flow of spammers. But ben and whomever the hell now own the site can't. Because it's impossible... or they just don't know how and don't want to accept the help offered from dedicated users. The few that are left on this site. 
Show me a website that needs my modding....

I just banned over 15 plus new spammers. 
Ben implemented a CAPTCHA on the sign up page, but it doesn't seem to be making a difference.
Hmm, maybe I'll try a different CAPTCHA service instead. Pretty strange they'd be able to get around this open source script that quickly, but who knows...

When you're modd'ed you'll see the new registers... click on that list and 100% of them lately have been spammers. Just go down the list and ban them on their profile page.
I don't know diddly about being a mod, but I have figured out how to delete a post, so I have been having some fun punching the balete button.
