Something has to be done. I am requesting that these seven Madville users be given moderator status, along with the tools that mods (myself) have.

If there is a privacy issue, then feel free to level moderate them the way David did. Level 1 all access, Level 2, just banning access, etc. The CAPTCHA on the register page is obviously not working, the users dedicated to the site with submissions and comments can hopefully cut off the spammers.
I am posting this as a blog and not PMing because I have not asked them, and they should have the option of declining/accepting mod status.

Here's to hoping this works. Signing in and seeing 500 (plus) spam comments every day is... disheartening. 
1. If there is a way to prevent giving points to me for posts and comments it would be great. As I am committed to a life of poverty, I want to share give the wealth away to Madville and ask that my points be spread out equally among all posters and commenters to assure a level playing field. Seriously.
2. Mr Big T is a conservative and adds political imbalance to the list of selected co-moderators. I motion that Mr. Big T be struck from the list.
Zemmy basically put you in the same category as the spammers with her list, so maybe you should walk softly for a change here.

C'mon, now. I like steamed. Sure he's annoying and spews falsehoods, but he's often amusing, and (at least on one occasion) poetic.
I agree. I find him entertaining in a black comedy kind of way, but I think we can all agree that his postings have gotten a little out of hand lately. If anything, I would like to see his number of posts limited.

I just looked at the comments list and had no idea how many spam capitalist sales hits were there. This is bordering on a denial of service attack, likely perped by repugs.
