Pretty quiet Halloween in my neck of the woods. (Of course my neck of the woods is The Everglades, which is strange) We have had heavy rain for over a week but it dried out just long enough for some kids to go around Trick or Treating. My favorites are the one and two year olds, who's parents got them dressed up strangely, took them outside at night, and encouraged them to ring the doorbells of stranger's homes. They have a look of total non comprehension on their faces that is always entertaining. Some of them back away when you try to give them candy, something that they will never do again in a year or so when this all starts to makes sense to them.
