Nope, haven't really thought about it tbh. 
I saw her comment on an E True Hollywood Story show. She said when she was a teenager a male friend kept joking around with her asking her to show him her stuff. After a lot of pestering she finally flashed him her goods and his response was "It's pink!". She said they started calling her Pink and it has stuck ever since. She has since changed her story to say that she blushed a lot as a little kid, but I think it comes from her rose bud.
