there are two movie versions .. Kubrick s version with Crazy Jack in it ..and another with Steven Weber .. which is more closer to the King novel ..both entertaining movies. check it out at Amazon.

I am a big Stephen King fan, but I still can't make any sense out of the movie version of The Shining. Maybe I should pick up the book and read it to see if that helps me.
