I just finished the final steps for CCW, and doing a little research on my own, people that carry open vary little from those that conceal legally statistically. People think because its a constitutional right that there are no other rules to follow much like the freedom of speech. Yes you have the freedom, and with that freedom comes great responsibility. And, with the open carry laws here, if its posted no guns, or the owner of the establishment asks you to leave you have to.
If you scream about your rights ignorantly, the cops will simply come and arrest you for disturbing the peace.
If you are walking down the street legally with your gun in its holster and 2 forms of 'safety' on, and a cop wants to stop you to inspect it, he has the right to. Go screaming about your rights and he can simply arrest you for not allowing him to make sure you aren't some screwball with the intent on killing someone.
Its always the screwball with the intent on killing someone that ruins it for everyone.

If you're not going to ban guns outright in your stores, at least offer armed and unarmed sections for your patrons.
