Boy did that hit the nail on the head! I used to dread every update Tuesday, when I was using Windows! I never knew how long it was going to take or IF my computer was still going to be in 100% working order after it was done, but I knew I was going to have to reboot at least once! Since moving on to Ubuntu Linux, I often even check to see if there are non-critical updates, since those don't automatically show like critical ones do. I have yet to have an update break my machine in 5 years and most don't even require me to reboot, only those that modify the Linux kernel need that! Can't really appreciate the part about Mac, since I can't afford either their hardware or their software!
