I'd like to see some numbers to back that up, the rich getting richer faster under Obama.
Wealth has a tendency to consolidate. This is no secret. If left unmanaged, the economy would consolidate and a few oligarchies would exist in the various industries. The same holds true for personal wealth. It is much easier for a person with 10 million dollars to increase his wealth by 20% than it is for someone making $50,000. The more money you have, the easier it is to pay a professional to manage that money for max ROI. That is what moronic libertarians and retards who push the flat tax fail to understand.
In any event, the extremely low tax rate on the super wealthy is a very recent phenomenon that has to be reversed if this country wants to reduce its debt and maintain social stability.
Wealthy people SHOULD get wealthier. They didn't get that way by chance.
90% of wealth is inherited, not earned.
So, thats going to tell me the rich are getting richer faster under Obama then under Bush? Sorry, i highly doubt thats what it will tell me, and being from TheWorldSocolistWebSite... I dont know if i should even bother.
No .. simply to point out that congress is comprised of Dems Repubs and very few independents ... they are the ones who vote and pass the bills. Too many people want to blame 'one' side or the 'other ' .. congress as an a collective .. and the WH are responsible... to blame one party or the other is a folly. Together we stand divided we fall
Divided we are, i havent seen the libs being called "the no party" even during Bush years, and actually they supported most of Bush's BS through the first of it.. On the other hand the repubs havent worked with the left at all, nor have the tryed. Been too busy waging a propaganda war as normal to actually give any good ideas or work with the left.
But yah, id like to see more indis out there too.. I wouldnt expect it to bring any type of radical reform though all the same.
There were a lot of GW judges .. some even good that could not get past the same sort of nonsense that some of Obamas' candidates are doing .. unfortunately that is politics - for the worse of our country.
GW enjoyed a repub congress for his first few years in office - the last couple the Dems had control of congress. Which is interesting when you think about all the out of control spending that GW gets 'credit' for .. congress was controlled by the Dems
Independents .. that's what we're talking about Vote Third Party if you ever want to see the dems and repubs change.
Yah, maybe the dems should have said no all the time and held up any government action.. Either way, the right cant say they didnt try it there way.
And yeah, i can support 3rd party, i just hope it grows to a truly viable option and the main party defectors stay out.
amabo
Yeah, and the rich are getting richer faster under Obama.
The poor are all unemployed.
