It's about freaking time. The celibacy thing is a ridiculous control mechanism. If they didn't need to hide their sexuality we'd probably see a decline in sex offenses.

Probably be one heck of a lot less, but the Gay and pedophile thing, aren't going to go away just because they can get married! Of course after a generation has gone by they may not get as many of those as at present since, the rules right now self-select for those not interested in a normal marriage!
Not eliminate no, but I assume there would be a great decline. The gay thing I could care less about; it's the overwhelming number of children that sickens me.
And no that's not to imply that all priests are guilty although there is some irony in the number of such a class of 'better people'.
