You can be sure that the Obama administration only will take credit for good things .. anything bad is Bushes fault - that is his standard form of blame.
There are still over 50K troops in Iraq and I would bet at least twice that number of mercenaries paid by the US.
I would guess we will end up with mil bases in Iraq just like other nations.. I wouldnt look for us to ever really leave, but i would say full scale combat mostly done with.
Remember that before the 2003 invasion I pointed out that we have troops in Korea 50 years after the fighting and troops in Germany and Japan 60 years later. I always assumed our military would prevail in Iraq, but that we would be stuck there for a very long time.

He is close to having nuclear weapons, the war won't cost much because we will use the oil revenue that doesn't belong to us to pay for it, and on and on and on.
Why anyone would be interested in the current opinion of these same guys is a mystery to me.

EDIT: Okay, I didn't say those things here before the Iraq Attack, since I have only been on this site since July 2003. I said those things elsewhere before, just not until after July 2003 on this site.
This is disgusting, but I always like to hear Jimmy Carter's, Bill Clinton's, in other fallen progressives opinions on neocon presidents, and encouraged the media to interview them more.
