Neocon Mr. Big T lets the camel out of the bag again with the this Barney Frank thing along with the Maxine Waters deal. Now I would expect this of the neocon and anti FF Mr. Big T, but not the FF directed Washington Post. The neocons have some Watergate style tactics on the move here to attack the FF party and the FF promises to work to reveal them. The FF orders Mr. Big T to halt the posting of such anti-FF articles as we from now on (1) consider this affront to Islam on the same level as burning the Koran or or drawing a likeness of Mohammed peace be upon him, and you you know happens to those people?! We will notify BO of this new rule immediately.
(1) As we have eliminated Koran burning and Mohammad drawings in the western world. As a cool new method to further erode the 1st amendment of the living breathing Constitution that can be changed at any time to satisfy the needs of changing times and to parallel the laws of foreign governments like Saudi Arabia via and according to activist judges.
Let the camel out of the bag" is a good one, steamed, but the fact is that public officials don't always act in the public interest. In the past decade or so it seems that acting in the public interest is not only rare, but actually condemned by some in office.
There are two ways of dealing with this, and both should be used, regardless of what Party an individual represents or what ethnic, religious, or racial group that person belongs to.
1) Law enforcement investigates these matters and those cases with probable case should be prosecuted.
2) Those who represent banks, energy companies, insurance firms, agribusiness, to the detriment of the public should be voted out of office, or if they have any self respect they should resign.
Sadly, these days some have made a virtue (or even Value if you prefer) of holding corporate interests superior to those 'of the people.'
Well, you could be busy spaming us with bank forclosers again..
You could be like an ostrich and call it spamming ... I'd prefer to say it is being informed of actual current events ... just for you, here is today's
6 Bank Foreclosures today - Sept 17th
What is the point of listing foreclosures without reminding everyone that the banking reform of 1999, based on a conservative idea signed into law by then-president Clinton is the root cause of the banking crisis?
A lot of our current economic problems can be attributed to laws passed on the insistence of conservatives for the exact opposite purpose that they actually served.
The GOP is more militant than ever in demanding that we enact even more extreme measures similar to the ones that created many of our current crises.
In a sane world, how can this be a winning strategy?
