Things have gone downhill since ML went down on the Hill and the popular president remained in office and is met with resounding applause today. The repugs have obviously destroyed the "man's world" this Earth used to be. It's a growing phenomenon And upright people like Weiner have to be on guard at all times because the delay in their digital camera sometimes causes them to flash the wrong body part.

Campaign finance laws are a joke these days. Most of the lawbreaking that went on in the Watergate scandal is totally legal today. But as lax as the laws are, a candidate still has to follow them or they run the risk of getting busted.

"Follow the money" was the best advice to come out of the Watergate era and it applies here.

I am not certain that Edwards broke the law, but it sure looks as if he did. Now it looks like a court will decide.

Mr. Gramps is right. It used to be that a Republican could wire only a single Democrat office so that Nixon could determine how Kennedy, the FF and unions stole the 1960 election, in order to prevent it from happening again. Now Republicans have wired the the whole world and every communications device in it to get to your private information, all the way back to Carnivore and Echelon.
