I just don't get it.
I hate the media hype that surrounds what Jon Stewart calls "The Trial of The Century, of the month"
I didn't want to know anything about the case, but living in Florida it is impossible to escape it.
The little I did hear made it seem as if the prosecution was stretching it by going for premeditated murder. Even though the mother looked and acted guilty as hell, it isn't clear what exactly she is guilty of, but they couldn't pin down a cause of death for the child which makes it hard, I think, for the jury to send her mom to Death Row.
I am still surprised that they didn't find her guilty of something.
Being here in Orlando and having to go to the Orange County courthouse on a regular basis, I am soooo glad this circus is over.
To be honest, I am not really shocked by the outcome. Beyond a reasonable doubt is a tough burden to overcome.
Personally though, I would have had a hard time saying not guilty on at least Aggravated Child Abuse.
How about the prosecution failed to do it's job
.. or by a jury of her peers ... that jury is comprised of some dumb people.
Whatever, if you believe in God, then it will be sorted out
or Karma that some crazed nut will do something harmful to her.

Every time she goes anywhere, ever, forever, people will be there yelling "I hope you die you mother-effing baby killing c-word." At least I hope so.
My wife subjected me to this crap every morning.
I didnt see all of it, but I saw a lot of it. In between establishing beyond a shadow of a doubt she was a shitty person, and that there was a dead girl, they might have spent a little time actually demonstrating that mom killed the girl. Acting guilty isn't a crime.
As far as I could tell, it was a fight to see who's lawyers were worse. Apparently the state of Florida won that one with an assist from their forensics team.
