Yeah, well Bush spent irresponsibly while wrecking the economy while Obama has been spending, or over spending if you prefer, while trying to revive it.

They are not the same thing.

Reply to Gramps:

I think there is a pretty good argument that both were irresponsible.

The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

Both presidents and congress were irresponsible.

I am pretty sure that what I wrote went right over you heads.

If Obama says it is unpatriotic to have 4 trillion of debt in 8 years, the debt that future citizens will have to bear is unfair ... then logically if someone .. like Obama (and pretty much the same minded congress) raised the debt the same in 1/2 the amount of time then LOGICALLY they would be more unpatriotic.

Those that dissed, hated, wanted GW impeached for the 4 trillion dollars of debt incurred under his watch then LOGICALLY they should not vote for the guy (and congress) that created that same amount of debt in 1/2 the time .. to do so would be hypocritical.

Of course, this is merely a logical progression of numbers. Those who are not mathematically inclined and think with their emotional brain do not see the logical rational of it - this does not surprise me. Is it rational to apply mathematics to being patriotic ... well the good president seemed to be throwing some numbers around and the patriot analogy ... didn't he?

The picture was just a representation of the democrats blaming GW for just about anything. I think that the shoe fits Gramps typical reply ... It's Bushes fault.

Congress was controlled by the democrats from 2007-> 2011 when a large portion of the economy was driven into the ditch .. as democrats like to use that phrase, so if one were to put the blame on a party (Gramps) then one might start there.

Personally, I think both party's are responsible for this and yet they will point fingers at just about everyone else but themselves .. the dems point their fingers at the tea party (been around since 2010) and the Republicans ..the repubs blame the dems for the problems .. there is not much accountability in congress it would seem like. 535 people 1 could make things a lot better, but resort to finger pointing. And the sheep in the country love it .... a house divided will not stand.
