Just look at the efficiency and success of the post office, Indian reservations, public schools, public housing, Social Security and Medicare, government created home loan rules that guarantee the bank will be sued if they don't provide interest only home loans to those that can't otherwise afford them, financial backing to highly successful green energy companies, college entrance to high end schools and jobs to people that can't normally qualify, the prevention of manufacturers from building in areas where unions are not prevalent, mammoth big dig construction projects that are completed ahead of schedule... The list of government managed successes goes on and on and is unarguably the only path to pursue for a successful outcome.
