I don't believe the modeling was done correctly. There would be more vertical mixing thereby mixing and warming the immediate are near the turbines, however there would have to be a lot .. I mean a lot of wind turbines to make any difference. I might affect the immediate area near the turbines but downstream of that I bet it would be negligible if any.
